Introduction to Student Business Centre University Malaya

  • Organized by Student Affairs and Alumni Department

  • Mandated to PUSPITA (Non Hostelite University of Malaya)

  • Organized the “inkubator keusahawanan” program on April 2004 as to witness and analyze undergraduate’s co-operation and co-ordination while handling their assigned business

  • Operating in a large scale since July 2005

Objective

  • To give an early exposure to students about entrepreneurship

  • Encouraging students to participate in entrepreneurship, and inspiring them to become a successful entrepreneur (based from income)

  • As a network for students to excel in entrepreneurship

  • Providing facilities which are required for students in campus

  • Providing a source of income for students within campus

Business’s Concept

This concept is divided into Three main agendas:
  • The commerce is totally conducted by Undergraduates

  • The business is the outcome of the co-operation between the undergraduates and off-campus entrepreneurs/alumni

  • The business is fully operated by off-campus entrepreneurs. However, the policy, system and rental are managed by undergraduates

    • Providing services such as marketing, Cleaning Control, more less giving business opportunities and training for Undergraduates to construct a food cafe
